Liquid foundation is the most popular of all the foundations.

Liquid makeup foundation specifications can vary from matte to dewy.

It's easy to work with it.

  • Which skin type liquid foundation is best for?
A liquid foundation is best for dry skin because of its hydrating function.

And it works well in dry skin.

These are formulated to give high coverage and have ingredients that keep the skin moisturized for longer.

  • What is the best way to apply liquid foundation?
In the case of applying liquid foundation, you should focus on these points.

Like, you should use an egg-shaped sponge. It generally helps apply the foundation evenly.

For best results, first wet the sponge before dipping it into makeup.

Then move from the inside out.

It means you have to begin by tapping the product from the middle of the face, by the nose, then move outwards toward the hairline.

Then start tapping the product on between the eyebrows, then move upwards to the forehead.

After that, tap the foundation on the chin and along the jawline.

After done, let it sit and complete the look.

2. Cream Foundation

Most cream foundations are suitable for the coldest seasons.

It also works well for dry skin.

Cream foundation is suitable for mature women because the loss of moisture in the skin happens more often around these times.

It fits medium to heavy coverage and helps skin look soft and smooth.

Cream to powder foundations transforms from cream form to a powder finish when transferred onto the skin.

This foundation helps for a matte finish.

It can melt into a powdery texture.

Generally, cream-to-powder foundations are suitable for all skin types, but the matte finish works well for people with oily skin.

A pressed powder makeup foundation is best for oily skin.

Because it's matte can cover the shine effectively.

The pressed powder has a heavier finish than loose powder, so light-handed is needed.
  • How to apply pressed powder makeup foundation
When you are thinking of applying a pressed powder foundation, first clean your face and apply moisturizer.

Then apply primer before brushing it on.

Then swish a kabuki or rounded foundation brush up the powder foundation.

Move the makeup brush following and forth over the pressed powder in short strokes to cover the bristles. Then press the powder over your skin with a slight rolling motion.

A mineral powder foundation is used for a smooth, natural-looking finish.

The powder helps to balance out the skin without drying or clogging pores.

Mineral powder is non-comedogenic, meaning that it won't cause other joint problems for oily skin, like acne, blackheads, or congestion.

And it is also great for mature skin. It is very build-able, so imperfections can be diminished.

It is perfect for those who want a natural look.

Cushion foundations contain liquid foundations in an easy-to-carry compact.

It contains a sponge dipped in the product that transfers to a sponge puff when pressed.

It's originally a dewy finished product but is now matte or semi-matte variants.

You squeeze down on the cushion, and only the right amount of the liquid formula is delivered onto the sponge.

Then, you can tap the foundation onto your skin.

If you are a newcomer in makeup, then I suggest using a cushion foundation.

Cushion compact foundation is the ideal solution since it offers customizable coverage and comes with a sponge applicator.

So you don't have to master using makeup brushes when you're first starting out.
